Dr. Tram Nguyen has always been committed to compassionate, and personalized care. Born in Vietnam, she immigrated with her family to San Francisco when she was nine years-old. Dr. Nguyen had the most interesting upbringing in San Francisco which contrasted when her family relocated to rural Louisiana. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, and Phi Beta Kappa from Louisiana State University. Dr. Nguyen went on to complete her medical school at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Nguyen finished her internal medicine internship at Alton Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, and completed her residency at Stanford University in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

After eighteen years in medical practice focusing on physical rehabilitation, Dr. Nguyen branched out into medical cosmetics. She is a premier CoolSculpting provider in San Mateo and is excited to bring CoolTone to her practice. She has immersed herself into this exciting specialized field of aesthetic non-invasive body contouring, partnering with Allergan, the makers of CoolSculpting. She will be performing the complementary CoolSculpting and CoolTone consultations. Dr. Nguyen will continue to bring balanced results while maintaining excellent standards of patient care and experience.
